OpenRules is an open source product available under the terms of the most popular open source GPL License.  OpenRules is designed, written, and developed by a professional software company, OpenRules, Inc., that stands behind its product, actively improves its quality, and provides a high level technical assistance to users.  OpenRules includes state of the art features that are not available from other sources.

The nominal fees we charge for the latest downloads provide our customers with an access to the Priority Email Support, access to the Inside Track Program, access to add-ons, and more.  These fees help OpenRules to defray some administrative costs.  OpenRules is compliant with the open source GPL License that allows a company to "charge a fee for the physical act of transferring a copy" (read more).  The important fact is that when you download any version of OpenRules, whether gratis or for a fee, you always can get the proper source code.

Potential customers who have difficulties paying even a nominal fee have the opportunity to pay as little as $29.95 or even nothing by sending a request to cannotpay@openrules.com. They may also download an evaluation copy with the source code without any fee. The evaluation version corresponds to the latest working version but limits the total number of OpenRules tables you can use in your applications.

Please, download a version of OpenRules that fits your needs in the best way, and remember that you always may count on OpenRules support and related services!
